together to plan this event.
The focus was on national BGCA
programs such as Power Hour,

and on local issues such as
Bullying, Teenage Mental
Illness, and Non-violent Crisis
Intervention. H Spees

Clubs Participate in National
Night Out |
|
|
Clubs in Del Rey, Sanger, Orange Cove, Firebaugh, East
Fresno, West Fresno, and Parlier
are participating in the
National Night Out, the annual
event which focuses on crime
prevention in local
neighborhoods. Arlene Mendoza,
one of our Directors of
Operations, says, "Our National
Night Out Events help our
neighborhoods get to know each
other better. Law enforcement
and our residents build a
relationship of trust and
respect. Together with the
Housing Authority support we
take a step against crime."
This year we will also be
participating at events in
Reedley and Fowler, even though
we don't have clubs there. |
