City of Fresno Parks & Recreation Department

The City of Fresno offers many regional parks and daily programmed activities (sports, nature, cooking, holiday activities, and more) at 27 parks and centers serving the heart of the community every year. In addition, the city offers sports leagues for youth and adults, aquatic lessons and Afterschool recreation at over 50 elementary schools.

Fresno Police Activities League (PAL)
PAL sponsors many different types of boys & girls youth sporting events, and other enriching youth activities that are conducted in a safe, supervised environment. PAL events are held at various locations throughout the County giving youth the opportunity to visit new places and broaden their horizons.
